The Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. - National Capital Region Librarians Council (PLAI-NCRLC) is offering to sponsor attendance of selected  NCR librarians to the PLAI Congress 2019. It is called the PLAI Congress Participation Grant. Read the details below.

 

About the Participation Grant:

​

• This grant aims to give financial assistance to library practitioners in the National Capital Region to enable them to attend and participate in the PLAI National Congress.

• This grant covers payment of conference fee to attend the PLAI National Congress. This shall be awarded to four (4) librarians who are registered members of PLAI-NCR.

 

Eligibility:

​

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• With a valid librarian’s license

• Currently registered member of  PLAI-NCR

• Maximum of 5 years in library practice

• Must have never availed of any PLAI grant

 

Requirements:

​

• At least 500-word essay expressing interest to attend the PLAI Congress 2019 and stating the reasons for the need to attend it

• Scanned copy of Certificate of Good Standing (COGS)

• Scanned copy of PRC License

• Resume/ Curriculum Vitae

• PLAI-NCRLC Participation Grant Application Form

• Email all requirements to ncrplai@gmail.com on or before September 30, 2019

• Applications with incomplete requirements will not be processed
